Gracias me padres. How are you all doing? Good hopefully, well this is MatsterChief here for another wait for it, wait for it, game review! Exciting right, I know reviews are not the most fun thing to read about but I believe them to be very helpful for the average and even avid gamer to make smart video game purchases. No one wants to spend $60 or even $20 for that matter on a game that they absolutely despise.
So in this amazing post ill be reviewing a game that's been out for quite awhile called Portal 2. This is the sequel to the award winning Portal that was featured in the orange box game collection. This game is at its heart a puzzle game. Usually I steer clear of puzzle games because I find them to be boring and the concepts are dated. An example of this would be like oh move these boxes around until they make a certain pattern then you will unlock a door to take you to the next level. That is kind of what you do in portal except you use portals to traverse test chambers to make it to the next level. Honestly its pretty mind blowing.
You start the game off very simply by just using your portals to traverse from one side of a room to the other and you learn some of the basic mechanics of the game. Of course like in most if not all puzzle games the levels become more and more difficult. In one level you have to some how direct a lazer beam from one end of a room and have it hit a sensor that will open a door for you to continue. When you look at it you think "Hey I can do this looks simple enough." Yeah after around 15 minutes of sitting and trying to figure out the puzzle and almost just almost losing my sanity I finally solved the puzzle through the simple process of trial and error. After completing these extremely difficult puzzles you will most likely feel like you are a freakin Einstein and can take on any problems your faced with. This is not always the case but the puzzles are rather challenging and will give even certified smart people a run for their money.
The game helps keep players involved in playing by giving them an amzing story enthralling them with witty dark humor which had me laughing out loud on more than one occasion. Mix that in with the fun and challenging puzzles id give Portal 2 a 9.5 out of 10 but don't just take my word for it visit the video game experts at gameinformer.com to see their review and rating.
Well that's all for this riveting post until next time my faithful subjects,
